FBR has revised the Import General Manifest (IGM) format to now require mentioning of the importer's NTN or FTN at the time of cargo declaration β a move aimed at simplifying trade processes and improving the accuracy and traceability of trade data. 1/3
For small parcels or one-time importers who don't hold an NTN or FTN, a CNIC or passport number will suffice. No unnecessary barriers β just a cleaner, more traceable system. 2/3
