I love Joanna and am so grateful that she is a teacher in Ontario. I have a teacher from elementary school whose effect on me was like that of Mr. Williamson. My life was changed forever and irrevocably. Yes, there were some others who guided me, but Madame Foreman was the top.
Gord Williamson - you will always be a superhero

The beautiful game does it again. Scenes in Boston have been unbelievable as Scots & Americans unite, including a viral friendship formed after a shocking bagpipe wake up call in suburban Boston. The joy of Tartan Army is a great example for us all. ❀️⚽️ #scotland #usaπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ #boston #worldcup

The kiosques Γ  journaux (newspaper kiosks) of Paris were not built for commerce. When Baron Haussmann ordered the first ones installed on the Grands Boulevards in 1857, he reserved them specifically for the widows of soldiers and civil servants, a way to give women who had lost everything a small, dignified income. The man who designed them was Gabriel Davioud, the same architect behind the Fontaine Saint-Michel and the two theatres on the Place du ChΓ’telet. His cast-iron model, topped with a domed roof and decorated with sculpted garland ornaments, was meant to look like it belonged on a Haussmann boulevard, because it did. About 60 kiosks appeared in the first years. By the end of the 1880s, there were 340 of them. In 1874, the city of Paris took ownership of the entire network.

Talarico fires back at Ken Paxton and Ted Cruz for questioning his masculinity: Real men don't lie and cheat their way through life. They don't sell their soul to the highest bidder. Real men serve others, weak men serve themselves. More of this please!!

Somewhere, Obama’s face shows a trace of a smirk.
Iran’s Mehr news agency publishes the purported text of the draft agreement with Trump. It will keep the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian control, will promise Iran $300 billion in reconstruction money in addition to an immediate cash transfer of $24 billion, a suspension of sanctions and the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the Middle East. Also, a commitment not to bother Iran again about its missiles and proxies, and restraining Israel in Lebanon. The U.S. gets in exchange a pinky promise to respect the NPT. Let’s see what happens in coming days. Link: mehrnews.com/news/6857718 Full text: A permanent and immediate cessation of war on all fronts, including Lebanon. A U.S. commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and to respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Full lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days. A U.S. commitment to withdraw its forces from areas surrounding Iran. Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days under arrangements determined by Iran. Suspension of sanctions on the sale of oil, petrochemical products, and related derivatives, along with full Iranian access to the resulting financial revenues. The United States and its allies would be required to present reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion. A 60-day negotiation period aimed at reaching a final agreement covering nuclear issues and the complete removal of U.S. primary and secondary sanctions, as well as the repeal of relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and the IAEA Board of Governors. Reaffirmation by Iran of its commitment under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) not to produce nuclear weapons. During the negotiation period, the United States would commit not to deploy additional forces to the region and not to impose any new sanctions. The release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day final negotiation period. Half of this amount must be made available to Iran before negotiations begin. Establishment of a monitoring mechanism to oversee implementation of the agreement. The final agreement would be approved through a UN Security Council resolution. Final negotiations would not begin before the release of half of Iran’s frozen assets, the suspension of oil sanctions, and the lifting of the naval blockade. The final agreement would focus exclusively on the future of enriched nuclear material and uranium enrichment, sanctions relief, and a program for rebuilding Iran’s economy. Discussion of Iran’s missile program and its support for resistance groups would be definitively excluded from the agenda. As stated by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, this text still requires review and final approval by the relevant authorities in Iran.

The most eloquent statement on the current, traitorous government, ever. Salute.
I wanted to provide a European perspective on the words vomited by a racist fascist masquerading as the US Secretary of War standing by the graves of the fallen in Normandy. The 10,000 bodies of those that never made it home fighting fascism in Europe who lay where he spoke, did NOT die for what America has become under this regime. He spat on their graves to tell Europe to hate β€˜the other’. WE WILL NOT, but we will celebrate in the streets when the regime he represents falls, be assured of that. To those brave Americans who gave their lives that we may be spared the tyranny of Nazi Germany, we salute you and we WILL NOT fail you and will NEVER FORGET. My thanks to Tiny Husband for the clip πŸŽ₯ TikTok - vm.tiktok.com/ZNRvmn12t/

ChrΓ©tien: When you look at the polls, Canadians have never been more united. Thank you to Donald Trump for that. I should propose him for the Order of Canada, but I cannot succeed. Do you know why? Rosie: He's not Canadian? ChrΓ©tien: Because we don't give it to a person who has a criminal record.

I still think the most impressive award show performance ever is Neil Patrick Harris's opening number at the 2013 Tonys. like, the ONLY time they were able to successfully complete it was during the live taping. and every celeb in the audience was STUNNED by the end. here's the video in honor of tonight's Tony Awards lol
