TEKKEN has many songs and many composers.
Of course, we've our own in-house composers, and almost all of the outside composers were originally members of our team (Namco Sound).
And for some reason, I've been supervising all the music and making the final Go / No Go decision for almost 30 years.
My daughter has absolute pitch and synesthesia skills to the point where she can distinguish 3-4 chords, But I myself have no musical talent at all. However, I do have a solid theory of fighting game music that I direct and produce based on.
One thing in common, however, is that many people from Namco Sound Team are geniuses.
Some of them can't play any instruments, yet they have created some of Namco Game Music's most famous songs, and some of them create songs for their hobby albums that are incoherent, yet when I order them, they achieve 100% of what I order.
One of the composers who has been working on the music for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is also a former member of Namco Sound's TEKKEN Project.
It is a composition of ordinary people producing surrounded by geniuses, but maybe that's how the world works.
