AI made people realize “complex” products were never that complex. Elon Musk reportedly created 5,000 new millionaires among current and former SpaceX employees. Around 400 of them now hold stakes worth over $100M. SpaceX salaries were often below market, but employees were compensated with equity. That SpaceX janitor who never sold his shares is probably smiling right now.

If you had made $1 million every single day since the birth of Jesus and never spent a dollar, you’d have around $740 billion today. And according to current estimates, even that might still not be enough to surpass Elon Musk. That’s how absurd the scale of modern wealth has become.
