See you in the CHAT!
Remember folks: Word-of-mouth is the strongest way to grow the audience of an indie project you love. If you like what you're reading/seeing, do try to speak up and let not only the creator(s), but other potentially interested people know! Your support means more than you think!
Dolgrun looks EXTRA happy in today's update! He's so full of mirth and glee! I wonder how he's going to take the news about the tanks being empty? I'm sure they're just gonna laugh it off! What's the worse that can happen?

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
Improvement is important, but just as I've run into people who just get sad and never improve, I've run into many who never think they're "ready".
I wasn't "ready" either when I first drew VHV.
I did it anyway.
Just a reminder to my fellow indie creators out there: Success is not measured by "views" or "followers". Success is measured by determination and steadfast discipline. You could get a million followers in a week and then burn out from the sudden attention.
So long as you learned something from that project, you're "succeeding".
Success is built up. Follower by follower. Page by page. Chapter by chapter. When the story is done, you've succeeded in "making" something.
And like almost all other creators, that project is just another stepping stone to the next - using what you learned from the previous project to give yourself a better starting point - even if you couldn't finish it.
So remember: Make something you want to make. Keep to it and keep talking about it. The only way you truly fail is to never try.

Finally! The reveal of Dolgrun! What a jovial looking fellow he is! And so full of barnacles! My, if I didn't know any better, I'd say he's a mix of Jabba and Nurgle all in one wriggling package of seaweed.
I love his design so much. Anyone want to know a few neat little non-story important bits?

Some lore:
Dolgrun is wearing the chitin of the previous mob boss. Upon killing the Kruum in charge, Dolgrun did what his kind does and molted to a bigger shell. I think he may need to again.
I got into a discussion on inking and traditional art on my server, and it got me wanting to start sketching again. I need to go out and buy some pencils. All I had was a small set of color pencils.
With the crew entering such a... noble establishment, it's only a matter of time before we meet this Dolgrun chum. Let's take a moment discuss Gekkans. They come in a wide variety, are all over the universe, and, have a strong sense of self-preservation!

Gekkans have the widest variety of looks to them. Frills, hair, spikes, spines, scales and in some rare cases, feathers! Usually, if they have scales, most just call 'em Gekkans.
Gekkans are incredibly proud of their origins, so this can cause friction!
My voice acting career just got even cooler… I am not saying a word yet, but this is a MASSIVE personal goal fulfilled for me. I am in SHOCK.
