A 2nd grader in Idaho got his homemade graphic novel added to his local library! Of course, Parkdale kids have been doing this for a while. Visit our Student Authors page for a growing catalog of amazing kid-created content!

Dillon Helbig, 8, wrote a book that he wanted everyone to read. So he slipped his sole copy onto the shelves of his local library.
The book, a richly illustrated tale about traveling back in time after a Christmas tree star explodes, was a hit.

I honestly wasn't a big fan of the live-action Wimpy Kid movies, but the animated version looks great! Beware the Cheese Touch!

If you are one of the many students wondering when Amulet 9 will come out, look at how many pages Kazu Kibuishi has written and illustrated so far! Somehow this will all be turned into a single book. Not sure when it will finally be published, but I can't wait!

Amulet 9 has been different than any book I have worked on before. It’s required much more information to be curated/compressed into the final product. Here’s a look at the amount of content created so far. This energy will be condensed into a small book that fits in a backpack.

Parkdale kids, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Aaron Reynolds and Peter Brown are making a third "creepy" book--CREEPY CRAYON! Just one problem: it won't be released until August, 2022. 😭
