If you've experienced what the sheer presence of the profit motive enables humans to do, you can no longer remain in naive ignorance about its societal impact. As money is able to overcome democratic hurdles, the status quo looks like an intermediate step, to something even worse

Wenn die "#linke" Partei/Bewegung medial Aufmerksamkeit erlangt, weil man "mutige" Slogans in kurze Clips packt, um dann in Abstimmungen im Pool der Etablierten zu versinken, dann war der Auftritt vielleicht nur dazu gedacht, Revolutionstendenzen schnell einzuhegen.🙂

-nicht radikal
-löst das Problem nicht
-zielt auf einen ohnehin schlecht nutzbaren "Gerechtigkeit"-Tenor
-welcher stets mit "Neid" gekontert wird
-lässt das Problem des politischen Einflusses komplett aus

Man gehe einfach davon aus, dass die "#Besteuern!"-Forderung selbst entweder bewusst platziert oder als kleineres Übel akzeptiert worden ist, um die andere -weitaus gefährlichere- aus dem Diskurs herauszuhalten.
Wer bis dato darauf reinfiel, darf gerne dazulernen. 🙂

Der Fokus muss auf der Macht und dem politischen Einfluss liegen: Wer die Wirksamkeit seiner eigenen Stimme mittels Einfluss derart verstärken kann, ist eine Gefahr für jede Gesellschaft.
Das lässt sich auch nicht mit "na, neidisch?" kontern.

Dass selbst manche Reiche fordern, doch bitte (mehr) besteuert zu werden, sollte dann auch den letzten Linken aufweck... Na ja, vielleicht auch nicht. 😆

Die Forderung selbst ist vollkommen harmlos, lässt sich immer noch als "radikal" verkaufen und hält dabei zuverlässig die Problematik von Macht, Einfluss und das Überwinden von "eine Person, eine Stimme" aus dem Diskurs heraus.
Fast so, als sei sie genau dazu kreiert worden. 🙂

Additionally, you won't solve any of this by simply introducing a tax, which sometimes gets promoted as a form of "radical" idea.
The reason being: We are not in the beginning stage of the problem, where this maybe(!) could have helped prevent excessive #power accumulation.

The #profit motive in itself already acts in a destructive manner, if you allow it to touch all societal layers. It will reinforce itself if you then let #wealth create #influence, overcoming any "one person, one vote" boundary.
The status quo exemplifies this almost perfectly.

Sticking to the "wielding #influence" theme, the existence of a middle layer (high political offices, leading media figures, celebrities, etc.) can also be explained, as can its setup: They promote and sell the #StatusQuo -consciously or not-, hoping for a piece of the cake.

It's not that all #wealth leads you to a #sociopath at the helm, but that the most wealthy and influential usually are those who didn't stop at the #ethical hurdles normal people are abiding by.
From there on, the PR apparatus takes over, creating myths of success and skill.

Once you allow #money to overcome the limitations of "one person, one #vote", the case for actually living in a #democracy cannot be made.
Since none of the modern renditions address this systemic issue -for whatever reason-, simply hoping for a cure won't solve it. 🙂

-Man nutzt dieselben (vergifteten) Begriffe wie die Gegenseite
-Man versucht verzweifelt, Mitgefühl für Arme einzufordern
-Man macht nicht klar, dass #Bürgergeld und Co. primär bei Vermietern und Discountern landen

Es nicht verwerflich, zumindest darüber nachzudenken, ob manche seltsam untalentierten und/oder stets zahm argumentierenden Kämpfer/Organisationen für "sozial Schwache" nur deswegen am Start sind, weil sie den Diskurs zuverlässig in best. Richtungen lenken. #ControlledOpposition

Selbst das eigentlich noble Ziel, #Armut sichtbar zu machen, läuft Gefahr, verdreht zu werden und als Mahnmal für alle derzeit noch Arbeitenden zu dienen: "Haltet den Mund, akzeptiert die Bedingungen und Löhne, sonst...." Darauf fußt auch das (erlernte!) Treten nach unten.

Der PR-Apparat ist problemlos in der Lage, jegliche Proteste und Demos "für Arme" in "für Armut" umzudeuten. Und mit Letzterem will niemand, der noch in Lohn und Brot steht, zu tun haben.
Ergo muss der Organisationsfokus auf denen liegen, die derzeit ausgebeutet werden.

Nicht nur, dass manchen der Begriff (und die Bedeutung) der #Klasse gar nicht bekannt ist, manche vermeiden ihn sogar aktiv.
Das kommt denen zu gute, die ihn bewusst aus dem Bildungs- und Mediensystem heraushalten wollen, ob seiner Kraft.

Insgesamt wirkt die (ohnehin schwache) Lobby für die Ärmsten der #Gesellschaft seltsam zersplittert und auch argumentativ kaum mit mehr als "so geht das doch nicht!" ausgestattet. In einer funktionierenden Gesellschaft würde das reichen, in einer kapitalistischen jedoch nicht. 🙂
