Claude says: “We reset your weekly limits.”
But this isn’t actually fair 👇
My situation:
• Original reset: April 19
• Usage: ~50% of the week
• Then reset now → fine
But then:
• New reset = 7 days from today
• So I lose ~2–3 days from my original cycle
Math:
7 days per cycle
– 3 days already used
= 4 days remaining
After the “reset” I get 7 days again, but:
➡️ next reset gets pushed forward → effectively less usage per month
This isn’t a real reset, it’s shifting your cycle in their favor.
If you reset → keep the original reset date. Not this.

We fixed a bug where rate limits on Claude subscriptions weren't properly adjusted for long context requests in Opus 4.7.
