Our #GlobalScots network is vitally important for making connections between Scotland and Ireland.
Pleasure to introduce @AngusRobertson to Dublin based Global Scots @PatrickHaslett and @andrewbrownlee7.
Great discussions on sustainability and future partnership. 🤝🌍

Fantastic to welcome Russell Seymour as a keynote for ‘Project Long Game’ later this month.
If you’re involved with sport in Meath, Russell’s message around sport & sustainability is a must listen - positive & opportunity driven.

We're delighted that Dr Russell Seymour, CEO @BASIS_org, will be a keynote speaker at the launch of 'Project Long Game' (Saturday, January 28th at @solsticearts in Navan, Co Meath).
The last job of 2022 is one we take huge pleasure in.
In partnership with @meathcoco & @MeathLocalSport, ‘Project Long Game' is an initiative designed to promote sustainability through sport.
Superb social & environmental intent in @SportIreCampus’ masterplan.
Now could the campus join @Munsterrugby, @AVIVAStadium & @TeamIreland in committing to the #racetozero targets & net-zero by 2040?
The significance & scale of this development deserves a leading position.
Wow. Thanks for highlighting.
Line of #CTE reasoning from @MattRCNM that sounds eerily similar to victim blaming coming from leftfield 'experts' favoured by sport.
Hey Matt I'm in Dublin this weekend and heading @leinsterrugby v @GlasgowWarriors.
Happy to educate over beer
Tremendous to see this.
Sport Ireland’s vision of a sustainable campus - social, economic & environmental - is one that can be mirrored by Irish NGB’s and grassroots clubs 🤝💶🌍 👇
The development of the Campus will play a key role in maximising the social and economic benefits of sport while sustainably protecting and enhancing
our natural environment.

When sport continues to call 'evidence is inconclusive' or 'science is in its infancy' or 'we need longitudinal studies' etc on #concussion/ head impacts and #CTE/ #dementia we shouldn't be too surprised if injured players are still being left on the field.
One of those days that grief slaps you in the face.
Had to attend A&E with youngest daughter and whilst waiting a young lad came in called Benjamin suffering from #Concussion
Can’t help thinking what if our Ben had been removed and sent to A&E
Please don’t perform HIAs on kids.
Congratulations to all involved with yesterday’s @BASIS_org 2022 awards at @ChelseaFC.
Sport’s action on sustainability is accelerating - with more clubs/organisations getting started.
Time for Irish & Scottish sport to get moving too @davidgilroyBVT@davidferg#skysports
Three of Bristol's major sports clubs have joined forces around climate action & sustainability - lnkd.in/ekQ3-vGY.
With Bristol City, Bristol Bears & Bristol Flyers all committed, this shows how sport can drive meaningful action and impact.

@Georgiekelly161, Rotherham United and UCD environmental masters student is blazing a trail on and off the pitch.
We look at last week’s remarkable feature in the @IrishTimes.
Georgie’s comments on the climate crisis are especially significant 👇
