The drying process shrinks that meat. Then the blender makes powder. Thus powder I mixed with an equal amount of beef tallow and poured it on my plank that was covered with a plastic foil. Now I can let it cool down in a perfect shape for cookies while it is easy to separate.
With the same slicer that I used to make my dinner hotpot meat, I sliced a larger piece of lean beef. I just set a thicker slice. Then, with toothpicks I hung the slices in the oven on some 70°C with the door cracked open. This will makes them dry over the coming time so that I can make more pemmican.
