Together with Prime Minister of Poland @donaldtusk, we paid tribute to fallen Ukrainian defenders.
Eternal memory to our bravest people who fought for Ukraine, defended its independence, and gave their lives in this struggle.
Eternal glory to our heroes. We remember each and every one.
🚨 Gunter, Yenton & Chivenor Primary Schools will soon be opening one of Labour’s FREE breakfast clubs.
🚀 Breakfast clubs boost parents' work choices & children's life chances.
🧒 Our Plan for Change will give children in our community the best start in life.
At @CommonsHealth we heard from major supermarkets on their role in promoting healthier diets and food environments.
With voluntary action failing to curb obesity, I was keen to hear their views on whether stronger, mandatory policies are now needed.

I am gobsmacked
I currently live in Australia I have phoned my GP receptionist for a repeat prescription I have been charged $30 just for the request That's £15 plus prescription costs
Look after our NHS because the alternative is frightening
Attended @ageukcampaigns’ important drop-in on ending long A&E waits and corridor care.
Heard directly about the reality people face locally, and no one should ever be treated in a corridor.
We must bring down these dangerous waits for good!
The Ockenden Review exposed failings in Nottingham's maternity services, and at @CommonsHealth we heard from @gmcuk about the urgent steps being taken to improve safety and care.
Accountability is essential, and we will keep pressing for the urgent changes that families deserve.
This week, @CommonsHealth heard from @gmcuk. I pressed the Chief Exec on lessons from the Ockenden review.
The largest inquiry of its kind found 7 breaches in safe care at Nottingham University Hospitals' maternity services.
We owe it to families to ensure this never repeats.
Huge thanks to everyone to run, walked, cycled, moved for #AdamsForest with @Earthruns4trees
Together we have planted 1520 trees providing habitat for over over 456K mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Read the full impact report here earthruns.com/tree-token-eve…
The Home Secretary’s statement today was damning. Trust in policing is broken.
As someone born and bred in Birmingham, I’ve seen this distrust firsthand. We need Chief Constables who have the skills to engage with all communities.
Black History Month may be over, but our commitment to a more just, equal, and ambitious society continues.
I asked the Minister what concrete steps the government is taking to turn this vision into a reality.
Hospice and end-of-life care should be available to all, now and forever, as @PaulJsays rightly explains.
With growing demand, sustainable funding is essential.
Thanks to @hospiceuk for tirelessly championing hospice care and pushing for long-term support.

Humble to receive an MBE for work with @PaulaMc007 & Tom & the wonderful team at HEE/NHSE to develop & roll out education/training to improve services for LD & Autistic people, especially the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in LD & Autism, thinking of Oliver especially today x
Black people are four times more likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act, a shocking inequality that cannot be ignored.
On #InternationalWomensDay2025, I asked @DawnButlerBrent to mark the day by recognising that tackling these disparities must be a priority.
At @CommonsHealth, I asked @CentreforMH’s Kadra Abdinasir about mental health support during the transition to adulthood.
For many, reaching adulthood becomes a cliff edge for support. We must do better to ensure continuity and care for young people when they need it most.
