Fun fact the Spider-Man getting the black suit on Battleworld has never been adapted.
To my knowledge Battleworld has only ever been adapted one time in the 90’s Spider-Man show.
But Spider-Man donned the black suit prior to that arc.

its generally easy to read spider-man wat all you need to do is legit read for ASM #1 and go from there, the only things you need to know is when to read WOS,SSM and SM (Spectacular starts after ASM #164, WOS starts after Spectacular #100, and SM starts after ASM #339)

I feel like not enough comic book fans understand that if you want more people to start reading comics, “What should I pick up?” needs a better answer than “Just grab issue 1 from 60 years ago and start reading in order from there”

He also researched what fans loved about Maguire & Garfield’s suits to design the look of his new suit.

In Child Within, DeMatteis did an incredible job in linking Peter's "chronic self-blaming" with the death of his parents. He blames himself for them leaving, a common reaction from a child's brain trying to make sense of the world, which results in buried trauma
It’s so funny that compared to say the Kents and Waynes, the Parkers just don’t matter lol. Every attempt of making them matter feels a bit weak. Peter's parents are Ben and May lol
