Holy yikes. The demolition of the Stony Plain Road bridge over Groat Road is in full swing at 11:40 pm. Hammer and tongs. I can just hear it through my upstairs bathroom window. My condolences to those living much closer. You won’t need fireworks to keep you up till midnight.

Bye bye bridge. My new favourite pastime is watching confused motorists ignore all the signs, blow past all the warnings, and then screech to an indignant halt when the realize that yes, the rules of gravity do apply to them. #yeg #yegtraffic
