We never want anyone to ever think it's okay to text while driving! Today the Worcester Hub safety committees are raising awareness about distracted driving. Do you know how far your car will travel while you try to stop from 40 MPH? What about 55MPH? #Itcanwait
ALT This activity is easy to reproduce! all you need is some chalk, a really long measuring tape, and some statistics to engage employees with about their driving habits. We measured 2 paths in our facility in red and blue chalk - red for 55 mph, blue for 40 mph. Then we encouraged employees to stop and look back to the starting point to see just how far it takes them to brake and come to a complete stop.

Today the CHSP team spent a little effort and time cheering up all the UPS Moms and Dads out there riding the struggle train into work after attempting to convince their 5 and 7 year old kids that Daylight Savings is very real. In fact, it is just as real as bedtime!!
