If you want to know what Latter-day Saints believe, this is where to start: We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. Latter-day Saints are Christians. Not because it’s in the name of the Church, but because we believe in and follow (through action) the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything we do is to be like Jesus Christ and accomplish the mission He tasked us with.

How do we identify truth? What eternal truths do we know about God? What is God’s plan for us? President Oaks answered all of these and more in his talk, “Truth and the Plan.” If someone is curious what Latter-day Saints believe about truth— this is the talk to watch.

Chills. Dan and Shay knocked this out of the park.
I’ve never cared for soccer and, for the most part, I don’t think anyone else in America has either, but I think it’s time to reevaluate things.

I don’t care what faith you belong to— In a world that does everything it can to remove God and incite evil, we should be doing all we can to bring God and righteousness back into it. We are stronger together, even if we have different religious beliefs.

We have gotten to the point where critics of our faith straight up deny facts. This data is not collected by the Church. This is public polling data from Pew Research Center. If we can’t bring literacy into these conversations— what are we doing?
A new study found that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the highest active retention rate of ANY religion in the country. President Hinckley said, “The strength of this church lies in the hearts of its people, in the individual testimony and conviction of the truth of this work.” Let’s continue ministering with love so that every member feels connected to the Savior.

The amount of people just straight up denying literal facts from non-biased, academically-reviewed Pew research is astounding. I linked the study. Check it out for yourself.

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland delivered the best explanation of how The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints deviates from traditional Christianity and returns to the doctrine taught by Jesus Christ himself. “If one says we are not Christians because we do not hold a fourth- or fifth-century view of the Godhead, then what of those first Christian Saints, many of whom were eyewitnesses of the living Christ, who did not hold such a view either?” This is a must-watch today:
