The Pelicans have named David Cosgrave as Vice President of Health & Performance and Joe Sharpe as Head Athletic Trainer   Cosgrave spent over 12 years in the Premier League, contributing across performance environments at Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool FC, Stoke City, and Fulham FC. He later played a key role at FC Copenhagen during a highly successful period, contributing to six Danish titles and multiple deep UEFA competition runs between 2014 and 2021. Sharpe brings over two decades of NBA experience to the Pelicans organization. He most recently spent six seasons (2018-24) with the Charlotte Hornets as the Director of Healthcare and Sports Performance. Prior to joining the Hornets, Sharpe spent ten seasons as senior athletic trainer for the Oklahoma City Thunder (2008-18) and four seasons as head athletic trainer for the Charlotte Bobcats (2004-08).

The Laketown Squadron have named Thomas Scott as General Manager. Scott brings extensive experience in player development, basketball operations, coaching, and talent evaluation at multiple levels of professional basketball. Most recently, he served as Director of Basketball Operations for the BIG3 and as an assistant coach with NBA G League Ignite. He began his NBA career as an assistant video coordinator with the New Orleans Hornets before serving in player development coaching roles with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers. Scott also brings eight years of NBA G League coaching experience, including stops with the Erie BayHawks, Cleveland Charge, South Bay Lakers, Mexico City Capitanes, and NBA G League Ignite.

The New Orleans Pelicans have named Kurt Joseph as Director of Strength & Conditioning. Joseph brings a strong track record, including the past five seasons as Director of Strength & Conditioning for the Nebraska Cornhuskers men’s basketball program. His experience also spans the NBA and G League, spending two seasons as an assistant strength coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves and one season as head of strength & conditioning for the Iowa Wolves.

New Orleans Pelicans center DeAndre Jordan has been named the 2025-26 Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year. Presented annually since 2012-13, the award recognizes the player deemed the league’s best teammate, based on selfless play, leadership and commitment to the team.
