New research from @PerlLabMac reveals second-stage cesarean and assisted vaginal births show similar long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes in children. @McMasterOBGYN @HEI_mcmaster @sarkalis @NedaRazaz
Among full-term children born after #vacuum or sequential instrument delivery, rates of ADHD and intellectual disability were marginally higher vs second-stage cesarean, but #ASD rates did not differ significantly between delivery groups. ja.ma/4qRwDAk
