This shows he’s good at talent ID it also shows that PSG, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Brighton are also have very good people at Talent ID Steve Nickson wasn’t the only bloke in the world who knew about these players
Desire Doue, Rayan Cherki, Hugo Ekitike, Joao Pedro… Just four of the now world stars Steve Nickson wanted to bring to #NUFC before everybody knew their names. And people want to act like this bloke walking out on us isn’t a very bad thing for the football club? šŸ˜‚ clueless

Steve Nickson had been incredibly good at his job for the last 15 year & its a real shame he’s leaving. He will be missed but can we stop acting like the world is ending there will be plenty of other chief scouts out there who will do just a good a job. Can we all breathe #nufc
🚨 EXCL: Newcastle United head of recruitment Steve Nickson leaving club. Englishman has informed #NUFC of decision - timings still tbc but all parties comfortable with situation. Move to Championship on agenda after 15yrs at St James’s Park @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7362261…

Al Carns has show his political inexperience. It’s now clear he resigned because he wasn’t offered the top job. Dan Jarvis aside being Security minister for the last two years has been in Parliament since 2011 he’s been around. Has military experience as a Para.
Dan Jarvis’s appointment as defence secretary ā€˜will not solve problems’ at MoD, says @AlistairCarns Whitehall editor @CatNeilan reports: The ex-armed forces minister has questioned the logic of installing a colleague with no experience of the defence ministry in the top job bit.ly/4vL83Ts

When Luke Akehurst is saying this a bad decision is when you know the know the Gov have fucked up
Assuming the reporting is accurate, I don't think this is a good enough response to either the ministerial resignations or the military threats the country faces.

I’m not necessarily a fan of the policy but also fuck off with this some people have campaigned v hard for this and it means a lot them let them celebrate you miserable arse
The whooping at the Prime Minister’s social media ban announcement in Downing Street this morning is so undignified and just not very British.

This is surely a joke?! The Tories would be outraged and hauling the culture secretary into Parliament about a waste of tax payer money at the idea of Gabby Logan sitting with Rooney on Venice Beach talking about a game in Vancouver. It literally makes no difference to the game
The @BBC has its World Cup presenters in a Salford studio whilst ITV will be live from New York. Licence fee payers deserve better. The BBC has trebled the number of people earning more than £100k in the last 5 years. Any good business would make cuts to senior management, not the viewer experience.

Can we stop pretending that Croatia won’t have any idea about who’s playing for England
Can we please stop leaking the fucking team news. Honestly, the media in this country at times.

Think there’s maybe a discrepancy between how much of a minnow teams like Curacao feel and how much of a minnow they actually are. They’re basically an Eredivisie team. This is…Borussia Dortmund against Fortuna Sittard or something.

Funny how his concern about being scrutinised by the media coincided with revelations about the £5m he got from a Thailand-based crypto billionaire.
The mainstream media constantly distorts what I say. You can no longer rely on them to report the truth. That’s why I’ve decided to speak to you directly and launch my essays to Britain. āœļø Read my first post out tomorrow at 8am. Click below or in my bio to subscribe.

I like Al Carns and can see the attraction of the warrior type leader but the best leaders have been through different iterations of their party so have experience it all. Burnham served in two govs, then in opposition for 7 years before GM mayor so has pretty much seen it all
NEW: Labour MPs should ā€œskip a generationā€ and install Al Carns as prime minister, supporters of the former defence minister told The i Paper. But fair to say the admiration is not universal... inews.co.uk/news/politics/sk…

Honestly never thought I’d miss Sep Blatters fifa they were corrupt but in an old fashioned way. Infantino is corrupt is the worse possible way he doesnt want money he wants power and profile he wants to Trump
Official attendance figures reflect the number of tickets scanned and spectators present within the stadium footprint, rather than visual assessments of seating occupancy at any given moment during the match. FIFA works closely with stadium authorities and ticketing teams to ensure all published figures are based on verified operational data. Please note that, during last night’s match in Guadalajara, several ticketed fans could be seen standing in concourses rather than staying in their assigned seats throughout the match.
Community note
Photos from the match show thousands of empty seats throughout the stadium, contradicting the claim of only several fans in concourses. nytimes.com/athletic/73524… yahoo.com/news/world/art…
