I might get emotional telling you this but it's my story: a story of how i dabbled into this space
all thanks to
@NnaemekaSenpai who came into my room 4th year in college to get my note, but he was already early in crypto and positioned in groups, getting firsthand information
this dates back to 2020/21, when
$DOGE was still a trend. Nnaemeka got in on doge early and was selling doge to other students on campus. He was in my room when someone wanted to buy some doge, and after that, I told him that i don't know what this is but if it's giving money, I'm in.
my first crypto coin was doge [worth 5,000 naira], then followed by the memecoin,
$JulD [probably worth nothing now 😂] but I cashed-out well back then, and then
$TWT [Trustwallet token]
i came into crypto thinking it was a get-rich-quick scheme, but guess who is still not rich after all these years? if you guessed 'me,' then you are right 😂
but did i grow. I definitely did. sometime in the year 2022. i started discussing with my buddy,
@CreateWithTony that we are all over the space and if we need to stand out, we would need to sit down and acquire some skills.
we did just that, and shortly after, i landed my first telegram job as a telegram ranger [asst moderator] at
@DIAdata_org then i progressed in landing other job roles in the crypto space for various projects
within these whole years, i have played around futures, spot, margin, and memecoins, but spot trading is far my best experience, yet.
am i happy that i found crypto? I can't really say because some days, it puts my mental health in the bin 🤯 I am guessing that i wasn't the only one who almost ran m@d, october, last year when bitcoin suddenly declined below $100k in matter of minutes. But, i'm happy about the experience so far.
i have met interesting and engaging minds and friends in the space, so that's a huge plus.
well, i am glad that i am still here and building. never say never, fam
wagwan and a happy new month, CT 💚
