It took me some years, but I have come to understand more on how busy Kitazume-sensei must have been in that 1985-1987 period.
I really just wish it had worked out for them in the end. I wish Atelier Giga coulda have been a credited studio on Char's Counterattack.

ZZ本編の制作が終わって、法人化して、うろつき童子とレガシアムやりつつ逆シャアの仕込みに入って大変多忙だったはずの時期の北爪さんなのだが
この時期のサラッと描いたような作画がむしろ動きに特化されてて好きなのよね
レガシアムなんかは山下明彦さんや山形厚史さん達動かし屋の方々と北爪さんの作画が上手く調和してると思う

I think trying to understand the Zuiyo Eizo --> Nippon Animation transition history has only resulted in myself asking more questions than getting answers.
Like what was the legal framework that Motohashi used in order to perform this supposed "take over" ?
