I have a Bonus for you on this one....
Firstly, for those who don't know, CAS will calculate automatically and tell you if you're able to bring your dependent or family.
-Once your CAS is issued, you take it to home office or UKVI embassy in your country for Visa application.
-Your proof of fund should be submitted alongside CAS letter
-Even after printing evidence of CAS letter and submitting to university, do not touch your proof of fund -Make sure you're on or above the required amount for your proof of fund until you get your visa
-UKVI requires the proof of fund is 28 days recent, the more recent your proof of fund is, the better it is for you.
I have spent years on the inside of UK academia, supervising PhD students, examining at other universities, and reading scholarship applications. And I kept seeing the same thing, brilliant students from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, India, missing out on fully funded places. Not because they were not good enough. Because nobody had shown them the system. So I wrote the guide I wish they had had from the beginning.
