Independent fairway research from the NIBIO Turfgrass Research Center in Norway assessed wetting agent performance under prolonged drought stress in cool-season turf.
In the two-year trial, our H2Pro TriSmart recorded the lowest irrigation water requirement, including a 22% reduction versus untreated turf during severe drought conditions in 2024. Qualibra achieved the highest visual turf quality scores during peak drought stress.

Great demonstration of how MTU and pidolic acid can change the turfs response to stress.
This gives a substantial advancement in liquid fertilisers for turf managers to benefit from to produce more resilient and consistent playing surfaces.
What happens to perennial ryegrass under low light?
This time-lapse shows leaf senescence over 15 days, as chlorophyll breaks down and green colour fades.
In the assay, turf treated with MTUยฎ pidolic acid stayed greener for longer than the untreated sample, indicating a slower rate of chlorophyll degradation under stress.
