The VA is getting ripped off by Medicare Advantage. In 2020, VA spent $12 BILLION on care of patients with MA--Even though MA is supposed to assume full cost of care. MA needs to pay VA. This ripoff needs to stop jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…
.@CMSGov did some small things to help primary care, but they failed to do the one thing needed to truly support primary care. The year-over-year underinvestment in primary care has to stop. If you value primary care, finance primary care.
Today, CMS announced it is finalizing new policies in the calendar year 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule final rule to strengthen primary care, remove barriers to covered preventive services, and improve access to whole-person care. cms.gov/newsroom/press-relea…
