Good thread. The shortcomings of Public Rights of Way, and why we need better access to the countryside :
ACCESS TO THE LAND Look at this OS map. Paths everywhere. Looks like you can walk freely across this part of rural Wales. But the reality is very different from the map. #RightToRoam 1/10

Arron Banks - Farage's best mate, Co-founder of the Leave EU campaign, donor to UKIP, and Reform Candidate for West of England Mayor. Reform claim they're not racist. So explain this @RUKWales ?

"I hate Reform and everything they stand for". Welsh grandmother doesn't hold back as she breaks down why she would never vote for Nigel Farage's party. You can see analysis and news from Welsh politics by signing up for my news letter (see pinned tweet). Big props to excellent @edcmpbl who I commissioned to go and carry out these interviews.

Zahawi will fit in very well in Reform, it seems.
I interviewed Nadhim Zahawi when he was Chancellor and questioned him about why HS2 was defined as a Wales project. He was embarrassingly bad. He said that: "We will of course make sure that Wales is getting, obviously, a major terminal." When I pointed out that none of HS2 was in Wales and the nearest terminal would be Crewe, he corrected himself saying: "Wales is obviously getting, just across the border, the major terminal for HS2."

Rally in Rhyl today for Normal Government in Wales, where we keep our taxes here, and decide how to spend them ourselves, instead of giving it to the country next door. Seems a sensible kind of idea #annibyniaeth #independence @YesCymru

A great thread about TB in cattle Wildlife not exonerated, but latency and cattle movements bigger issues than previously thought?
For a long time I haven’t spoken about TB… for two reasons 1) my experience of it was minimal And 2) my knowledge of it was thin I just didn’t think my voice added much to the discussion that hurts so many people and farms/herds 1/18
