The big change at the waterfront house and cottage we are building in Chatham is the additions of the sizeable decks that have been framed out and are awaiting new IPE decking and railings. We will be moving into interior finishes on the house and cottage in the coming weeks.

This is a unique kitchen expansion. We renovated the original kitchen and let the new space flow into the home addition we are building. With the cabinetry now in place, you can really get a feel for how it will look.

As is typical, spring is proving temperamental on the Cape, a minor inconvenience given the glorious summers we enjoy. When good weather does arrive, retractable walls and oversized sliders will allow our clients to savor every moment.

#ProgressReport: We grabbed a few photos of this new sunroom as we were wrapping up. Our client’s choice of finishes – soft sage-green paint, a botanical print accent wall, and warm, neutral floor covering – let the space feel like it is an extension of the wooded land outside.
