dad got gifted a basically unused #iPod nano 3g (released in 2007)
completely unexpected, but syncing on monterey mostly "just works"
little fella holds up to 4gb, which is surprisingly difficult to fill up after having gone all in on music streaming 😬

been using an old mac mini some usb hard drives as a "temporary" home server for more than 4 years
just had the first drive break on me, which i honestly can't be that mad about, as its a small miracle that this whole setup hasn't failed spectacularly yet, lol
