Nice to collect @Albie7Walker from Baslow yesterday after he had spent 2 nights camping on his Duke of Edinburgh silver award.Albie who was suffering with a heavy cold managed to complete the course which started in heavy rain and cold conditions. Sadly 4 members dropped out

On the eve of @FIFAWorldCup this is the point where a @ChesterfieldFC player entered the field in the finals. Gerry Armstrong #711 was contracted to the club in 1986 for the Mexico World Cup when he got the last of his 63 caps for @NorthernIreland.

Priveledged to play alongside Len when I was a youngster in the @ChesterfieldFC reserves . Len helped me enormously really great professional
Len Badger was born #OnThisDay 81 years ago. He was a right back that played 541 times for #SUFC between 1962-1976 ⚽️
He sadly passed away in May 2021. I was lucky enough to meet him a few times - he was a lovely guy that was very generous with his time ⚔️ #twitterblades

Great memories I am pictured after setting up Andy Kowalski to score for us against Peterborough United who had my former team mate Bill Green playing for them . Bill was one of many senior players who helped me at the beginning of my career . Bill sadly died recently so young .
