I’m seeing a lot of rightful criticism of the NumPy paper’s lack of female authors but would caution against pinning the blame on the authors, as it overlooks a lot of the more systemic issues within the Open Source Software (OSS) community. 1/6

#Python 3.8 news: F-strings now have a "=" specifier that prints an expression and its result. Very handy for diagnostic prints:
