In the 1960s, holiday cards from politicians became less formal with the introduction of photographs featuring their families, pets and winter landscapes. It was a way for politicians to appear more approachable and human.

...uncovering the career of the @V_and_A's first female Official Photographer, Isabel Agnes Cowper. Cowper, whose photographic contribution has only recently been discovered, ran the museum’s photographic service from 1868 until she resigned in 1891.

I'm so proud of my colleagues in the @LibraryArchives conservation department. Thanks to their generosity we were able to put together 5 care kits for youth facing homelessness for the @UnitedWayEO!

Do any other conservators have trouble concentrating during online meetings unless they have something to do with their hands? Today I'm making wee little plants for my greenhouse model. It's sounds counterintuitive but it really helps me stay focused on what people are saying.
