1/4 - My @RealRCWomen account is 6 months old today! I'm resharing the first 3 posts from Dec. 10, 2025 that helped the account grow from 1 follower to a few hundred...to now over 5,700! Can #CatholicX get the account up to 6,000 or more followers to help me celebrate?

Pope Leo XIV’s response after hearing a heartbreaking testimony of a human trafficking victim from Nigeria here in the Canary Islands: “I hope that this message reaches you and the many other women who are victims of trafficking and exploitation. If others have put a price on your body, know that God has never ceased to recognize your inestimable worth. If others want to trap you in a painful past, God continues to make a promise for your future. If others treat you like an object, the Church wants to tell you today that you are a daughter and you are a sister; you are a blessing. Your life does not belong to those who harmed you; your body does not belong to those who took advantage of you; your days do not belong to those who wanted to chain you to fear. Your life belongs to God, who has given you a dignity that cannot be taken from you. We want to walk with you until that truth feels stronger than the pain.” (📷: Vatican journalists’ pool)

Two fun things from the Pope's lunch with bishops: 1. The bread looked like this. 2. Before giving the final blessing, he made a joke: Leo said that before leaving for the trip, he had asked an IA what the Pope should say to the Spanish bishops. AI replied: “Pope Francis would say...” At that point, he interrupted and said, “I think there is another Pope now.” Then, according to the Pope, IA corrected itself and said, “Ah, that's right. Pope Leo is now the Pope.” He then told the bishops that "we have a different algorithm [than IA] That other algorithm leads us to love people, to accompany them, and to be servants of the Word."

Esta madre y su bebé... Para mí, el momento más bonito del histórico día de León XIV en Madrid.

Day 7. I continue to pray for you in Rome. A relic of the foot of St. Mary Magdalene at the church of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini. Say what you want about us crazy Catholics, we’ve got some great history! Then there’s this sculpture of the baptism of Jesus. It’s a good day

Day 5. Rome. If you’re seeing this, I’m praying for you. This is the church of Sant’Ivo. In the center of Rome. Borromini designed that beautiful top/steeple.

Day 5 Rome. If you're reading this, I'm praying for you. A glimpse of the suffering on earth & a symbol of Heaven awaiting us. The statue below is in front of the offices of the Sant'Egidio Community in Trastevere. They have an amazing outreach to the poor, centered in prayer.

Day 4 in Rome. I continue to pray for you. This is the container that held the skin of the apostle Bartholomew when he was martyred by being skinned alive. Happy Monday! 😉

Day 3. Still praying for you in Rome. Enjoy the birds and the jasmine - at least the visual of the jasmine.

If you're reading this, you're in my prayers as I combine work and pilgrimage in Rome. This crucifix is a must-see for anyone who has a mission sense to their life, including the quiet missions that rarely get recognized (ahem...parents, etc.). 1/8

For everyone who thinks that their past precludes union with God, Camillo, as he was getting ready to start his order, was also what we would today call a gambling addict. He literally lost his shirt. 7/8

His contemporary (also later a canonized saint), Filippo (Philip) Neri derided him and told him that since he couldn't manage the basics of his life, he'd never succeed. Thankfully, Filippo was wrong. 8/8
