I just cancelled my Adobe licence after many years as a customer. The new terms give Adobe "worldwide royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, distribute" or do whatever they want with any content I produce using their software. This is beyond insane. No creator in their right mind can accept this . You pay a huge monthly subscription and they want to own your content and your entire business as well. Going to have to learn some new tools.

The Mavin System has several future incarnations...it’s a sophisticated and complex system that I plan to continue working on. It’s the distillation of a lot of thinking and hand-wringing. It also involved lots of soldering, 3D printing, electronics, and C software development.

When the Covid Safe app was released, so many people in tech lauded it as a positive development. At the time I felt like I was one of the few voices who could see through the spin. Ultimately, an app, properly done, could have been useful. #COVIDSafe #auspol
