Prince @PahlaviReza: The international community should back the people of Iran’s fight for freedom. Put them at the center of any negotiations and in their Iran policy. Doing a deal with a regime that murdered 40,000 protesters in two days will backfire. thetimes.com/world/middle-ea…

Whilst the piece is fantastic, somebody have a word with those sub editors. I’d say ‘The Shah’s Son’ is pretty credible in his own right. He has been consistent on Iran, his position and the role the country can play on a global stage. And Iranian people have chosen him.

Really important piece for those curious about the Iranian question.

If anybody believes that the Islamic regime can be trusted they need to have a long hard look at themselves, and the last 47 years.
Reza Pahlavi, exiled son of Iran's shah, tells Katy Balls any deal with the regime "will ultimately fail" and is "morally wrong". The regime has the blood of thousands on its hands, he says: why come so close to leave it in place? thetimes.com/world/middle-ea…

It is disappointing Trump has thrown a lifeline to a dying Regime but let’s be honest it was always expected. Iranian’s knew there were limits to external military action. Change was always going to come from within. Lots of regime apologists and appeasers will claim this “war” has made the Regime stronger. But this is not true. The Regime and IRGC are weaker, more hated, more fractured and the opposition under @PahlaviReza stronger and more organised on the ground in Iran. This regime will fall. It may take longer but freedom will come.
“The Deal with Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all!” President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸

Huge thank you for your support, Dan. Brilliant to see there are parliamentarians out there who are raising awareness of the massacre and the dangers of the IRGC. The UK needs more MPs like this.
Love and solidarity to the Iranians out in Liverpool City Centre TODAY against the murderers of the IRGC who have killed over 40,000 of their citizens and proudly supporting Reza Pahlavi’s peace and democracy plan. I am looking forward to seeing @PahlaviReza in the U.K. very soon.

The bravery of the Iranian people is astonishing. Look at this sea of heroes who risked their lives for liberty and dignity. This scale of protest, and the tens of thousands who gave their lives, is certainly unprecedented in history.
Newly released footage from Iran’s Lion and Sun National uprising. The tyrannical regime, after weeks of internet blackouts, tried to prevent the world from witnessing the surging wave of uprising in the streets of Iran. Tehran - January 9, 2026

FIFA bans Iran’s centuries-old national flag as “political” 🇮🇷 Then clears the keffiyeh as “cultural expression,” despite being a symbol for resistance forces 🏴 That’s not neutrality. That’s selective enforcement. @FIFAcom, care to explain?

Will the @ukhomeoffice investigate this?
London based Iranian journalist Panah FarhadBahman has used his social media platform to echo threats repeatedly aired by the Islamic Republic’s state media against UK-based journalists and dissidents. FarhadBahman’s post reads: “Those who became Israel’s voice during the war know very well that as long as the Islamic Republic remains in power, they will always have to watch their backs. It’s only natural that they continue to go to great lengths. For their long-term protection, they need to prove their loyalty to Mossad.” The remarks come after @janeprinsley of @JewishChron revealed that Iran’s state broadcaster, a key platform for spreading threats and hate against British-Iranian journalists, operates an office in the United Kingdom.

Yes @patrickwintour would be an important piece for @guardian to investigate and cover. Feels like a massive story now that another wig maker in Germany has also noticed the massive influx of hair coming in from Iran. Iranians might then start having faith in you again after the disgraceful IRI Foreign Minister opinion pieces you commissioned, constituting the first articles the Guardian printed on the uprisings. The 2nd piece on Jan 12th - three days after the massacres of tens of thousands of people, basically justifying the actions of the regime - was particularly egregious for a British newspaper to publish. Investigating this story will go a long way to re-establish trust with British Iranians.

@patrickwintour I remember your joy about the regime’s spokesman just “answering” questions asked by women a few weeks ago - I want to respectfully ask if the media outlet you represent also investigated the matter discussed in this video?

The diplomatic route to what? 40,000 Iranians didn’t die for a nuclear deal or simply opening the strait of Hormuz. They died for freedom and democracy. Why do European leaders continue to appease this regime? It will never change. It is stringing you along. Only regime change will bring peace and stability.
I spoke to Iran’s Foreign Minister @araghchi about the latest escalation in the Gulf and the state of negotiations with the US. I’ve also been in touch with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The resumed attacks on the Gulf countries and their critical infrastructure are unacceptable. A return to full-scale war would come at a tremendous cost to the entire region. The diplomatic route remains the best path out of this war.

For those suffering from amnesia: just four months ago, the Islamic regime in Iran slaughtered over 40,000 people in only two days, for the sole ‘crime’ of protesting for freedom.

Protesters in Iran continue to be executed by the regime. But not always by public hanging. Take Amir Davoodabadi who was injected with a poisonous substance into his testicles when held in prison which led to his death soon after release. #امیر_داوود‌آبادی was born 1980 in Arak and one of tens of thousands who took to the streets January 8th and 9th to protest. Days after the protests Amir was identified and arrested. After a month of interrogation and torture, he was released from prison in early March. Just before release he was injected with unknown chemicals into his testicles. A few days later Amir's body began to react. His entire body swelled up and his kidneys and liver failed. His family were forced to transfer him from a hospital in Arak to Tehran where doctors where were unable to help him. The family was then informed that toxic substances had entered his body. Amir lost his life 25 days later. He played the violin and was full of life. Like so many others with so much to give, murdered by the Islamic Republic. Amir Davoodabadi is buried in the village of Gavkhaneh, next to another murdered protestor of Arak, Amir Mehdi Nemati Nejad.
