Our team deployed "wrapped smart contracts" earlier this year allowing EVM contracts use directly from any Cardano wallet Cool to see that tech was just used by @TangleSwap raise over 1,000,000 ADA on @Milkomeda_com Shows how improving UX can bring new life into an ecosystem

High interest in the @TangleSwap sale overloaded the public endpoints for Milkomeda Unfortunately this caused downtime for Wrapped Smart Contracts (WSC) that allows Cardano wallets to use EVM contracts (ex: Nami, Eternl) We'll make performance improvements as soon as we can Very cool to see that wrapped smart contracts worked as intended to allow EVM dApps to onboard many Cardano users To make it clear, although the network was able to handle all the traffic without any hiccups some of the public endpoints (indexer) on top of it didn’t scale up in time for the spike Appreciate your patience and support during this time and will keep you updated on the progress as we ensure all transactions get processed smoothly going forward.
