About the MOUTHOLE rare variant:
The goal was to make the packaging feel like a damaged Japanese horror artifact rather than a clean modern retail sleeve.
The direction pulled from seedy Japanese horror manga, underground game packaging, rough scans, distorted print textures, and low-resolution import-era design.
I worked with a very talented graphic artist to finish the piece, but the composition and overall direction were LLG’s: the central figure, the Japanese text treatment, the grimy layout, and the uncomfortable “found object” presentation.
Copies were already distributed with the release. If you got one, you got one.
This is easily one of the strangest variants we’ve produced, and that was the entire point.
