Big
$Plastic #tokenomics update loading. β»οΈβ‘π§€
We are currently testing a new rewards structure with a soon-to-be-released technology partner, and this is a major step forward for the
$Plastic community.
The biggest upgrade?
Flexibility.
This new tech is designed to allow us to adjust reward settings as the ecosystem grows, instead of being locked into one static structure forever.
That means
$Plastic can evolve with the community.
And this test structure brings some major changes. π
π₯ Buyback & Burn is being tested at 10%
That is a huge increase from the previous 1%.
More emphasis on buyback and burn means more deflationary pressure built directly into the rewards structure.
π¦ Shrimp minimum is being tested at only 500K
$Plastic
This is a big one.
The original shrimp threshold was 1M.
Now we are testing 500K.
That means shrimp tier access becomes more available to more community members.
More shrimp.
More participation.
More people able to be part of the rewards structure.
π΅ Daily rewards are being tested in USDC
As part of this test run, rewards would be distributed daily in USDC.
The current distribution time being tested is:
π 1800 UTC daily (That means the amount will be more but only one air drop per day).
And because this new system is flexible, reward settings can be adjusted over time as the ecosystem grows.
Current test structure:
π₯ Buyback & Burn: 10%
π¦ Shrimp Holders: 20%
π Whale Holders: 40%
π° Dev Fee: 30%
Tier thresholds being tested:
π¦ Shrimp minimum: 500K
$Plastic
π Whale minimum: 5M
$Plastic
Now letβs be very clear on the mission side:
The original commitment remains.
100% of the dev fee is still intended to be used for community-voted nonprofits and plastic pollution initiatives.
That has not changed.
So this is not just about rewards.
It is about building a system where activity can support:
β»οΈ holders
π₯ stronger buyback and burn
π¦ more accessible shrimp rewards
π΅ daily USDC reward testing
π community-voted nonprofit initiatives
π§Ύ mission-aligned plastic pollution impact
β‘ long-term ecosystem flexibility
This is what building in real time looks like.
Testing.
Improving.
Adjusting.
Expanding access.
Strengthening the flywheel.
And preparing
$Plastic for the next phase of growth.
$Plastic is the Solana-powered community layer.
GEIS brings the proof.
The community brings the energy.
Daily rewards at 1800 UTC.
The flywheel keeps turning. β»οΈβ‘π
Oh... and there "might" be some new UNPRECEDENTED features to the tech..."maybe".
