The boys 4x400m relay lowered their school record in the 4x400m relay at Regionals running a 3:22.32 in the process of qualifying for the state meet. Relay members are Shinji Pollard, Eric Seigel, Quinn Hanson, and Andrew Durham.

Elizabeth Arenas continued to lower her 1600m run school record to 4:58.37. She achieved this while qualifying for the state meet Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30 in the 800, 1600, 3200, and 4x800m relay.

Da’Mon Jamierson broke the school record in the long jump Friday, May 22 at the Regional meet and won the event in the process. Da’Mon jumped 23’04.5” to become the new school record holder. Congratulations Da’Mon!

The track and field team qualified several individuals for the state meet Friday, May 22 at Regionals in DeSoto. Both the boys and girls teams were Regional runner up in the meet as well. Congratulations to all the state Qualifiers.

The boys 4x800m relay team broke the school record Friday, May 8 at Shawnee Mission North Relays. Justus Lockamy, Conner Johnson, Oliver Bass, and Quinn Hanson ran a 8:05.06 to set the new record. Congratulations on the accomplishment!

The Piper boys track & field team are back-to-back conference champions! On Thursday, May 14, the Pirates scored 162 points to secure the team title at the UKC Championships. Several PRs from both veterans and newcomers helped lead the Pirates to victory in a true team effort.
