A gaming convention that began as a virtual event inside Minecraft is making its return to Las Vegas this summer. PixelCon 2025 @PixelConLV will take place August 9 and 10 at Tuscany Suites & Casino. Originally launched in 2020 as an online convention hosted entirely within the Minecraft world, PixelCon has grown into a unique mix of gaming, art, and community. After debuting in person in Las Vegas last year, it is now back for a second round with even more to offer. The weekend will feature live tournaments in games like Minecraft, Mario Kart, and Tetris. Scavenger hunts, space themed quests, and more than 40 local vendors and artists showcasing everything from artwork to retro collectibles. Cosplay fans will find several competitions to enter, including a handmade costume contest, a store-bought “Wear It Best” showdown, and a kids cosplay event. Know a gamer who would love this?
