I think you should actually be asking what makes people hate season 2 because everything between Alice and Yuzuha's patch to the AoD ISN'T good storytelling, it's not abysmal but there's definitely a reason people still liked season 1's main stories
No one can convince me that ZZZ season 2 is bad
