Day 1 at the #IBW25 reminded me: when the right people gather, the future accelerates – brilliant teams, real tech and zero fluff.
At the DefaiCon stage, a panel by @MrMtazk (CookieDAO), @michaelh_0g (0g Labs) and @VaderResearch (Vader AI) set out to interrogate a pretty sharp question: If AI agents run DeFi… what’s left for humans?
Left the panel with lots of answers, but also confirming that the idea of a fully automated, agent-driven financial stack isn’t science fiction anymore. Rather, AI is becoming the default setting.
And it raises new questions at the protocol layer:
🔹 Who governs when agents self-adjust?
🔹 Where does compliance fit into code that rewrites itself?
🔹 And are we, once again, building faster than regulation can keep up?
What’s clear is: DeFi is moving beyond permissionless transactions toward permissionless intelligence.
