Just out of curiosity, does anyone use Gemini CLI? I know everyone is either in the Claude Code camp, or the Codex CLI camp, but I wanted to know what people actually think about Gemini CLI based on actual experience and if they've compared it to Claude Code and or Codex CLI in real world use.

So we're being told all Software Engineers will be replaced with Ai because Ai doesn't get sick, doesn't take vacations, doesn't get tired, doesn't daydream on the job, and isn't lazy. Ummmmm 😑 Ai does get tired. Context Exhaustion. Ai does get sick. Goes down often. Ai does take their own versions of vacations. Extended downtime. Ai often Hallucinates. Lost in the Middle is a thing. Ai is often lazy. Fast answers to complex problems = poor solutions. Don't get me wrong. Ai is awesome when it works, but when it stops working 😤😤😭😭

Security vs Performance, which matters more to you? I ran a security audit of one of my projects with a pentest skill I setup to analyze the codebase and this is what I like to see. The skill is configured to prevent lazy analysis and is highly structured based on OWASP Top 10 security issues along with WordPress Security best practices.

Codex is currently overwhelmed. This is one reason why I believe people won't be replaced by Ai at scale any time soon. We live in a world of limited resources. Limited GPU's Limited RAM Limited TPU's Limited Energy Limited Throughput Capacity Limited Funds and all this means Limited Scale.

UMMMM Yeah, Houston We Have a PROBLEM!!! At this rate I'll hit my usage limit in less than 90 minutes. I think Claude Code is really REALLY messing with us SMH. They got us hooked, and now they're being STINGY!

When you have so much more to go and you hit your Claude Code Usage Limits. I remember the days when I could run multiple instances of Claude Code in my terminal and not have to worry about this. But sadly we live in a world of limited resources and now I have to sit here and wait lol The clock is ticking.

Looks like I’m about to MAX out my Claude Max limits. Good thing I still have Codex to work with. But wait, at this rate, I’ll Max out my Codex limits before the refresh. Seems like even at the ProMax level, still gotta watch those tokens. I might have to actually start coding again 😂
