First of all, thank God. Sold Pcc.ai last month. Thanks to @atomHQ I like to share story behind that. In 2023, I hand-registered PCC.ai and submitted it to @atomHQ Premium. It was initially approved at $3,499, but I felt the AI market was just getting started, so I removed it. Later, I resubmitted it and Atom approved it in the $22k-$45k range. After further market research and a pricing review, I listed it at $77k. A buyer came in at $50k. Following a negotiation strategy I learned from @TonyNames , I kept my floor at $50k and asked the broker to push higher. The buyer ultimately agreed to $70,000. Huge thanks to the #domain community for all the knowledge shared along the way, and special thanks to @MichaelCyger , whose comment on my first sale gave me the confidence to keep going. Sometimes the biggest difference between a $3,499 sale and a $70,000 sale is having the patience and conviction to hold the right asset.

1. Andrew Miller / ATM Holdings & Hilco Digital Assets 👑 The new Master of Domains 👏 Andrew has been behind some of the biggest domain deals ever done – Chat.com, Rocket.com, Gold.com, Universal.com. He didn't just win. He ended a seven-year dynasty.

Uber started as UberCab•com in 2010. SF regulators hit them: get a taxi license or drop “Cab.” They chose the name change → needed Uber•com The owner? Universal Music Group. They traded the domain for 2% of Uber equity (no cash). At 2019 IPO (~$82B valuation), that 2% = ~$1.6 BILLION. They sold the shares back early… for $1M Biggest domain regret in tech history.🏆💀

Sold DocumentationAi *com for $11k via @afternic in July of 2025 on LTO. First time using self brokerage. Opened at my min of $4k, $20k BIN (not visible on lander), came up to $10k straight BIN, but I wanted to provide cash flow flexibility for the buyer and offered $11k/8 months

Let us discuss Some Growth drivers: 1) Wholesale Purchase: Wholesale prices are out of the roof. You gotta pay up but you will not likely get better deals off listings either. What you can get is similar names with better likelihood of a quicker sale So even on wholesale/auctions, all else being equal, you will need to focus on names with "likelihood" of quicker sales. Easiest metric is number of upgrade candidates Problem with this is that every tom and dick and harry knows about it and it will sell close to retail You have to find your own dots to connect and be highly selective You have to be highly selective 2) Private acquisition: This is basically underpaying someone who has no idea how valuable their asset is. I am not really comfortable with this approach I like the approach of the Booth brothers. They always seem to offer above market price and they hunt for names that have better likelihood of sales You have to be highly selective 3) Sell side: Outbound is not scalable unless you want to staff a call center type operation, which I am not going to at, this age But you could leverage ATOM or compete with Atom for "business names" This will take some effort and grind, but will surely double your sales. 4) Ultra Premium names I have no idea if I can get better ROI on Ultra premium names SO not really sure if they will be a growth driver unless I push the sell side. What are your growth drivers?

It took me six years to reach $1M in domain sales. After in-depth study, research, and small experiments in 2019, I started with $100k in January 2020 with zero domains and gradually built a portfolio of over 5,000 active domains. Domain sales from January 2020 to today: Afternic : $747,370 Afternic LTOs: $35,000 Dan: $109,341 Sedo: $55,000 Spaceship: $17,493 ------------------- Total: $964,204 in domain sales. Wholesale: Sold over $114,000 in bulk domain deals (all private). Grand total: $1,078,204 in six years. I am very grateful to @afternic and all the buyers who purchased my domains. 🙏 Expenditures: Approximately 45%, including marketplace commissions, domain renewals, and acquisitions. Net profit: 55%, plus a portfolio of over 5,000 active domains that increases in value over time and serves as a cash flow machine for a small family man like me. Lessons: 1) In the first few years, I lost a few domain deals due to lack of negotiating skills. Their combined value was around $90k. 2) I stopped using DAN and Sedo long ago, as all my domain sales came from Afternic, and I found it time-consuming to list on all marketplaces. Currently, my domains are listed on Afternic and Spaceship only. 3) You all know I wanted to sell my portfolio. I tried my best and even listed it for 9 BTC, but it didn't sell. I received two strong offers but politely declined them, as they were not from domain investors—those individuals came from different backgrounds and had little understanding of domains. Mistakes A) I wasted about two years on crypto trading, which caused health issues and sleepless nights; domains are a much better and safer investment. I wish you all a happy, healthy, and beautiful life full of happiness and prosperity. ✌️😀 In July 2024, I wrote about my first four years' journey, including revenue details. 👇 x.com/DomainCX/status/181430…

🙏Grateful to God, Dadaji, Family, and Friends 🙏 ✨ Giving Back to the Community with the Full Journey of HealthStrategy .com — From a $3K Acquisition to a $100K Sale in 18 Months Earlier this week, I promised the domain investment community that I would share the complete background story behind one of my six-figure sales — not just a highlight or price tag, but the full journey, the key turning points, the negotiation psychology, and lessons learned from start to finish. True to that promise, here’s a step-by-step breakdown of my sale of HealthStrategy .com, a domain I acquired for ~$3,000, and sold for $100,000 within 18 months. This is more than just a sale recap — it’s an open-book look into how I approach domain investing, how I price and position premium assets, how I handle negotiations, and how I stay grounded through it all. I hope this deep dive adds value to the community — whether you're new to domain investing or a seasoned player seeking long-term consistency. Let’s begin... 👇

Patience in domaining is overrated It is one of the thing often thrown about in domaining talks. About being firm on pricing Of course you won't get a $10 Million sale unless you rejected a $1M offer But you aren't getting a $10K sale by rejecting a $3.5K offer Take that $3.5K, have a nice steak dinner and reinvest the rest It is far easier to convert 3.5K to 10K than the name you are trying to hold on, just because, patience.. Here is the thing about patience. You don't ever have to be patient Here is how I converted $10K in initial investments to where I am today in just 5 years If you are willing to pay $200 for a name, you should never have to wonder if you are going to renew it. It should be a name you are willing to Auto-renew without thinking. Do the thinking before you make the purchase, not at the time of renewal When you have a 1000 such names, most of them will not have any inquiry, and not having inquiry is not a great way to assess if you want to renew a name. It will only give you gastritis You don't want to patient about any particular name Just wait for BIN, and take any reasonable offers as long as they can bring 4-5 equivalent names in the current wholesale aftermarket 5 names is always better than 1 as long as they are of equal quality, regardless of whether one had an offer. Besides you ARE taking the offer. If you are not, it is the same as YOU buying that name again for that Offer amount. If you get a 3K offer on a 10K name. Say, You have the skills to buy the names similar to the 10K name for $500 Would you rather buy 5 similar names with 3K or buy the same name for 3K?
