This build is about more than just TLG. We've long been outspoken about the benefits of producing goods stateside; our aim is to support the local communities and economies we move through daily, and to ease the impact of our business on the environment. 👉 Stamp your name on our Factory: backerkit.com/c/projects/tro…

Update on the Character Generation app: It works, 100%. Everything feature-wise I wanted to implement is now implemented. Beat my head against a few items but ultimately I worked them out. It is now a per-1e-AD&D-by-the-book implementation of character creation that saves as text, HTML, or JSON. All the races in the Players Handbook, any stat bonus or penalties, all available classes to races and to stat dependencies, full monetary and equipment system, encumbrance, and yes starting spells for Illusionists and Magic-Users and it also generates spell books for higher level Illusionists and Magic-Users if you start a 1 n leveled character. TODO: Fix up the HTML output so it's more printable and visually looks better. Set up a "quit at any time" option, if you start and then just want to nope out Load back in characters and dynamically level them or adjust stats. Say a Paladin got an item that raises their Strength from 17 to 18 - now they get a percentile bonus and their to-hit and damage changes. I want to be able to load a character back in and alter the stat and then save anew with that reflected. What if a character got magically aged? What if a character gets level drained, or gains a level? This third item will be the real test of my abilities such as they are. I'm glad I don't have to put a quarter in every time I have a question for chatgpt or grok - I'd be broke by the time this last part is implemented! Once all of that is done comes building a GUI around it and once that is done (and it's tested and proves watertight)...then I'll share it. And then I'll start on Volume II: Encounters and Treasures. Vol II will be the Lord of the Rings to Vol. I's The Hobbit. I intend to go beyond what The Dungeon Masters Assistant Vol I: Encounters did. I'm going to make it THE 1e AD&D tool. I'll keep everyone informed! #dnd #adnd #ttrpgs #dungeonsanddragons #advanceddungeonsanddragons n.b.: a few images:

I love seeing these. My favorites. Those original paperbacks with the glorious slip case. I’m reading Cthulhu, and he’s going to Krynn. Awesomeness #Dragonlance
This was my mail call today. Completely inspired by you. My first step in recovering lost artifacts from my youth. Enjoy the Lovecraft when you're not traveling in Krynn. 🐙😈🤘
