❤️ Thank you for being part of PlayCleanGo Awareness Week. Protecting the places we love is not something any one organization can do alone. It takes a community of partners, outdoor enthusiasts, educators, land managers, agencies, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and individuals all working toward a shared goal. As we celebrate PlayCleanGo Awareness Week, we'd like to extend a special thank you to the organizations that helped make this effort possible: 🌿 North American Invasive Species Management Association @NAISMAorg 🍁 Invasives Canada @CanadaInvasives 🌵 CONABIO @CONABIO We are also grateful to @USDA_APHIS for supporting invasive species prevention efforts and helping make this campaign possible. Most importantly, thank you to the many partners across North America who have shared resources, hosted events, participated in webinars, promoted prevention messages, installed prevention infrastructure, and inspired others to take action. Together, we are building a community dedicated to protecting the places we love from invasive species. Thank you for being part of the PlayCleanGo movement. #PlayCleanGo #PlayCleanGoWeek #ProtectWhatYouLove #Partnerships #Community

🏔️ We protect the places we love by cleaning our tires, vehicles, and gear before our next adventure. Mud, seeds, and other invasive species can hitchhike on ATVs, UTVs, trailers, tires, and equipment, traveling from one trail system to another. Before heading to your next riding destination, take a few minutes to wash your vehicle and remove any mud, plants, and debris. A thorough cleaning helps prevent invasive species from spreading to new areas and protects the trails and landscapes we all enjoy. Together, these simple actions help keep outdoor recreation areas healthy for future adventures. Because the places we love are worth protecting. #PlayCleanGo #PlayCleanGoWeek #ProtectWhatYouLove #ATV #OHV #OffRoadAdventure

🚐 We protect the places we love by using local firewood and cleaning our tires, vehicles, and gear before we travel. When we move from one campground or recreation area to another, invasive species can come along for the ride. Firewood, vehicles, trailers, tires, camping gear, and outdoor equipment can all unintentionally transport invasive species to new areas. Before heading to your next destination: 🔥 Buy or gather firewood where you'll burn it 🛞 Check tires, wheel wells, and outdoor mats for mud and debris 🔍 Inspect your RV, trailer, and equipment before you travel 🏕️ Clean your RV and camping gear before your next adventure Together, these simple actions help protect forests, campgrounds, and outdoor recreation areas from invasive species. 🐴 We protect the places we love by feeding weed-free forage and cleaning our gear before every ride. Invasive plants can spread when seeds hitchhike on hay, tack, trailers, boots, and other equipment. Choosing certified weed-free forage and taking a few minutes to clean gear before traveling to a new trail helps reduce the risk of introducing invasive plants to natural areas. Whether you're heading out for a day ride or a backcountry adventure, these simple actions help protect the trails and landscapes we all enjoy. 🛶 We protect the places we love by cleaning, draining, and drying our boats and gear before every launch. Aquatic invasive species can hitchhike in water, mud, and plant fragments hidden on kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, life jackets, paddles, and other equipment. Taking a few minutes to clean, drain, and dry your gear helps prevent them from spreading to new lakes, rivers, and waterways. Before heading home or to your next adventure, remember to: ✅ Clean off mud, plants, and debris ✅ Drain all water from your boat and equipment ✅ Allow your gear to dry completely whenever possible Together, these simple actions help protect the waterways we love. #PlayCleanGo #PlayCleanGoWeek #ProtectWhatYouLove #CleanDrainDry #Paddling #Kayaking

🤝 Protecting the places we love takes partnership. As we celebrate PlayCleanGo Awareness Week, we'd like to thank our friends at the Don't Move Firewood campaign for their ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the risks of moving firewood and the importance of protecting forests from invasive pests and diseases. Firewood may seem harmless, but moving it long distances can unintentionally spread invasive species to new areas. That's why one of the simplest things we can do when camping is to buy or gather firewood where we'll burn it. Interested in learning more about firewood pathways and how you can help protect forests? Visit DontMoveFirewood.org to explore resources, tips, and educational materials from this important prevention campaign. Together, we're helping protect the places we love. #PlayCleanGo #PlayCleanGoWeek #ProtectWhatYouLove #DontMoveFirewood #BuyItWhereYouBurnIt
