The greatest ability any player can possess is teachABILITY there is so much to learn in the game of basketball and those who are humble enough to accept coaching and learn from it will always end up winners.

Trainers can definitely help players on their journey but other things carry so much more weight than us! A HS coach who teaches the right things. A parent who rebounds for them. A teacher who believes in them. And most importantly, a kid who puts in the work on their own!
Do Trainers Take Too Much Credit?? The older I get, the more I understand that training is a piece of the puzzle for players or teams. Early on in my career I thought it was everything, and that a players success was my success. A players success is their success, and all the different people in their lives are there to hopefully help guide them. When I realized that, I became a better trainer because I realized I was serving them and not my own ego.

Lebron and JJ’s two keys that determine success or failure in the NBA 1. Ability to take constructive criticism from older players and coaches. 2. A healthy fear of messing up on off the court stuff (being on time to practice, eating the right things, etc.) 🔥🔥🔥
