So apparently this is interference/obstruction today in the @CofCBaseball game. The runner wasnโt close as you can see the ball running off the glove of the fielder. @CAASports this should not have happened. Changed the game.

Fall world series opener at @CofCBaseball, fun matchup between the Cougars' top two arms. Veteran LHP Jordan Carr can really pitch, showing advanced feel for a quality four-pitch mix, getting Ks with the 88-90 fastball, the sharp high-70s slider, even a good left-on-left change.

Chris Woodward went out of his way this morning to praise non-roster catcher Nick Ciuffo, who he said a lot of people wrote off after 2019.
Woodward guaranteed his numbers would improve, based on what he's seen from spring, and said Ciuffo's forcing his way up the depth chart.
