The New York Jets have the "distinguished" honor to be the first team to lose control over their own destiny. There is at least one oddball scenario in which even if they were to win out they could miss the playoffs at a hypothetial 11-6. #NFL

The NFL team with the highest statistical chances to make the playoffs is not the Bills, Chiefs, Chargers, Lions, 49ers, or Eagles. It is the Indianapolis Colts. Members of the AFC South, which has the best overall record in the AFC at the moment. NFL is crazytown this year.

The 49ers have swept the 1st round of games against NFC West opponents, thus cannot lose the first tiebreaker of h2h, and obviously the 3-0 div. record is a good start to being able to win that tiebreaker if needed, essentially they have a 1/2 game buffer against the others. #NFL
