It's sad to see people - especially survivors - in a perpetual state of hypervigilance, expecting problems and enemies ~ to the point of creating them.
I get it, after a life of being messed with and everything coming at you, you can't help but expect it... but please don't be a slave to your bias, chained to your past trauma, stuck in cycle of habitual reactions... projecting problems externally because you expect it, internally. Don't turn communication looking for solutions into a problem. Don't automatically assume the worst.
Even if there is already a disagreement... what is the harm in giving the benefit of the doubt and hearing something out in good faith? To bridge the gap. To resolve. To unite. To learn and grow, on both sides. You can always reserve the right to accuse, escalate, even attack. Why start out with that though? Don't we all already have enough enemies? Are you looking for more? Are you expecting more to the point you are encouraging it? Perhaps inadvertently?
Evil looks to divide and conquer. Are you working for, or against that?
I challenge us all, to do better for ourselves, and others.
