RIP double Oscar winning special visual effects supervisor, Brian Johnson. He won for Alien & Empire Strikes Back. Of the generation that did all special effects, he alternated between supervising physical effects, miniatures then motion control work and later directed CGI.

Incredible achievement by Liam Foley of Trim AC who broke the 800m world record today at the Down Syndrome World Championships in Sofia.

This dog just got a little brother two weeks ago, and he's already exhausted. 12/10 for both
ALT a chocolate lab on a couch rests his head on a pillow. his yellow eyes are droopy. the poor guy is capital T tired. the reason for his exhaustion sits right next to him: a yellow lab puppy with his mouth wide open as if he's telling a long story using run-on sentences. his head is blurry, presumably because he can't sit still.
