Wife took the @Tesla this morning after the @Tesla_AI FSD v14.3.4 update last night. She said parking options popped up when she got a few blocks from her destination that had multiple parking options. I like it.

The MUCH bigger problem is on the right.

Got this from a friend this morning. Yet another person who loves their EV after making the switch. ♄

I've seen our neighbor drive by ONCE in their gas car since they got their @Tesla Model S two weeks ago. 😂 Probably want to make sure the gas doesn't go bad. 😂

Have you seen my rockets? They're pretty awesome.
I’m gonna call them “my rockets” now that I own SpaceX.

Elon Musk has enough money now to fix every McDonald's ice cream machine, but he won't because he only thinks of himself.

No joke... Are we pretending politicians complaining weren't in on the $SPCX IPO to make some quick cash? OVER HALF of our Congressional representatives are millionaires.
My whole timeline is full of millionaires complaining about a trillionaire

Hard to hear but tornado sirens are going off. Fun times.

First time I've ever seen my @Tesla Universal Wall Connector limit the charging rate to one of my EVs (Silverado EV), usually they charge at more than twice that rate. Currently 84°F outside with high humidity AND the sun is hitting the charging side of the car, so that's probably why.

Dear anti-EV crowd. I drove gas vehicles for 30 years. I attended car shows. I've modified engines and suspensions. I'm a Mustang Club of America-certified national car show judge. I still love classic muscle. I also used to love making mixed tapes, visiting Blockbuster on Saturday nights, or shopping for new music at Sam Goody. I was a photographer and spent a lot of time and money on film and developing. At the same time, I was one of the first to rip my music to MP3s, upgrade my internet connection to stream video, and own one of the first Sony digital cameras. And here we are again on the cusp of change. EVs are here for the masses, and the market will drive the change because EVs are better all-around vehicles for most people. Gas vehicles will be obsolete in another decade or two. Luckily for you, you don't have to change now. Nor should you be forced to. Gas vehicles will be around long enough to meet your needs or driving preferences until you are ready, and I'm thankful for that. But you see, I don't need your battery-fire warnings, comments about pumping gas in 5 minutes, or selective outrage about rare-earth mineral mining posted from your mobile phone. The ICE age is drawing to a close. Legacy auto and dealerships are on borrowed time. The automotive industry is ripe for massive disruption, and many people don't see it coming. But it's coming; you can’t stop it.

Perfect maneuver through a parking lot with a pedestrian and car parked in the middle of the aisle for @Tesla_AI FSD v14.3.3.

It doesn't really matter that "...there are more than a quarter-million bidirectional-capable GM EVs on our roads today..." when @GM's PowerShift solution is astronomically expensive - FOUR TIMES the cost of @Tesla's PowerShare solution ($2K vs $8K). * GM needs to bring it down to a reasonable cost and I'm interested in it for my @chevrolet Silverado EV. Until then I'll just use the 20A/30A plugs in the bed when needed. * Image AI-generated, but fed correct data
GM has announced that it plans to develop energy storage batteries, and will enable their EVs to send energy back to the grid. "We are developing next-generation sodium-ion battery cells purpose built for grid-scale storage. Compared with incumbent chemistries, sodium-ion can perform across a wider range of temperatures and for more cycles. That means that sodium ion-powered energy storage systems have the potential to operate without active cooling and with much less system complexity." Also, there are more than a quarter-million bidirectional-capable GM EVs on our roads today. When paired with GM’s home energy systems, these EVs can become a residential power resource capable of sustaining a home for days during localized grid failures. These EVs and energy systems are also engineered to support vehicle-to-grid (V2G) power flow without requiring additional hardware iterations. We are integrating bidirectional capability as a foundational standard across our entire portfolio, democratizing access from high-volume platforms like the Chevy Equinox EV to flagship vehicles like the Cadillac ESCALADE IQ."

„Best of both worlds”? Nein. Beide Wartungskosten. Beide Fehlerpunkte. Einfacher gewinnt. Immer.
