Twitch history was rewritten today.
According to @MitchJonez , his channel had been capped at around 3,000 viewers because @Twitch said his subscriber count didn’t reflect the size of the audience he typically pulls, often 12,000 concurrent viewers.
In his defense Mitch has always told his viewers not to sub because he doesn’t need the money

To prove those viewers were genuine, he asked his community to show up by subscribing.
They delivered.
In just three days, the community generated 12,600 new subscriptions , 10,236 subs in just today , currently at 14,124k subscribers total and then went on to break one of Twitch’s most legendary records.
The Golden Kappa Hype Train didn’t just clear the widely recognized Level 52 milestone needed to surpass AdmiralBahroo’s historic run , it climbed all the way to Level 55.
What followed was more than a record breaking Hype Train.
It was a remarkable display of community conviction, coordination, and support that turned skepticism into one of the biggest moments in Twitch history.

The world spent roughly $1.5 trillion to launch all the non SpaceX satellites. @elon did it for $50b. So if the world truly believes that poverty can be eradicated for $1t, they should switch entirely to SpaceX for launches, save $1t and spend it on eradicating poverty. It’s that easy.

@Twitch Decided they should cap @MitchJonez to 3k viewers because they believe his sub count doesn’t match his original 10k viewers.
Mitch has made it clear he doesn’t need his viewers sub because he doesn’t need the money.
But today’s streams, he decides to show Twitch they were wrong in their analysis.
In 2 hours, he got 2000 subs, making his total subscribers at 3038 more than his viewer count as I’m writing this tweet.
It makes no fucking sense.
It’s criminal. @Twitch @TwitchSupport, fix your shit , get a real system to get rid of bots and stop capping real streamers with real viewers based on rumours/word of mouth
